L. John Davis Jr. is an American politician and a small businessman who participated in the 2012 U.S. Republican Party presidential primaries to nominate for the 2012 U.S. presidential election. Davis has a certain amount of attention due to he was named in two primaries in New Hampshire and Texas, he received 3,901 popular votes in total.
2012 campaign[edit]
Davis entered the primary race with his campaign on October 1, 2010.[1]
On Davis' campaign website, he focuses on economic and government issues in the United States.[2]
Davis only appeared on the ballot in two states, Texas and New Hampshire.[3] He did not win in both states and both had a vote percentage of less than 5 thousand popular votes, the total of all votes he received was 3,901 votes.[4][5]
After he lost two states and Mitt Romney won the nomination, he shut down his campaign website.

He is a businessman in Grand Junction, Colorado.[6]
