Danny Stutsman (born March 10, 2003) is an American football linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners.

High school career[edit]

Stutsman attended Foundation Academy in Winter Garden, Florida.[2] As a junior, Stutsman recorded 110 tackles. In addition, he also added 44 receptions for 891 yards, and 12 touchdowns. Stutsman finished his high school career with totals of 333 tackles, 20 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.[3][4] A three-star recruit, he committed to play college football at the University of Oklahoma.[5][6]

College career[edit]

As a freshman in 2021, Stutsman played in ten games, tallying 38 tackles, one sack, and two forced fumbles.[7][8] The following season, his 125 total tackles led the Big 12, while also posting three sacks, and two interceptions.[9][10][11] Against Texas Tech, Stutsman recorded 18 tackles, a career high.[12] Entering the 2023 season, Stutsman is seen as a top prospect in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.[13][14] On December 11, 2023, Stutsman announced he will be returning for his senior season, despite expectations he would declare for the 2024 draft.[15]
