Karand (Persian: كرند, also Romanized as Kerand)[3] is a village in Lajran Rural District of the Central District of Garmsar County, Semnan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 777 in 205 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,104 people in 322 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,273 people in 386 households; it was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
