Chahardangeh-ye Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چهاردانگه جنوبی) is in Chahardangeh District of Hurand County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kuran,[2] whose population was 403 in 135 households at the 2016 National Census.[3]

After the census, Hurand District was separated from Ahar County in the establishment of Hurand County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Hurand as its capital and only city.[2]
