Piazabad (Persian: پيازاباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Zardalan Rural District[4] of Jazman District, Holeylan County, Ilam province, Iran. The village is populated by Kurds.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 443 in 87 households, when it was in the former Holeylan District of Chardavol County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 403 people in 96 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 389 people in 100 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In 2018, Holeylan District was separated from Chardavol County in the establishment of Holeylan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Towhid as its capital and only city.[8]
