List of European tornadoes in 2024

This page documents all tornadoes confirmed by the European Severe Storms Laboratory or various governments or universities across Europe during 2024. Unlike the United States, the original Fujita Scale and the TORRO scale are used to rank tornadoes across the continent.

According to the European Severe Storms Laboratory, there have been 35 confirmed tornadoes in Europe in 2024, resulting in 12 injuries.[1]

Greenhouses were partially destroyed, a mobile construction container was moved, and a solar panel array was damaged. The tornado struck the town of Kumluca directly, injuring six people.[1]

April 1 event[edit]

Damage to roofs and crops, a couple of weaker buildings partially collapsed, trees and branches downed. A carpenter''s saw was hung to a tree, a plastic kids house was deposited on a roof some large water tanks were transported for hundreds of meters.[1][22]
