Kuhnani District (Persian: بخش کوهناني), formerly Kunani District (بخش کونانی),[3] is in Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Kuhnani.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 21,786 in 4,305 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 21,433 people in 5,078 households.[6] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 19,292 inhabitants in 5,199 households.[2]
