The Holguín, Holgín or Olguín are one of the most important and famous families of Colombia, considered as part of the colonial aristocracy, with presence in other countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Cuba.

The center of power of the Colombian branch is inf Cali, and the department of Valle del Cauca. The family has its origins in Extremadura and Granada, Spain.[1][2][3][4][5]
