The 1985 WAFU Club Championship was the ninth football club tournament season that took place for the runners-up of each West African country's domestic league, the West African Club Championship. It was won by Africa Sports in two-legged final victory against Ifodje Atakpamé.[1]

Not a single club from Niger participated.

  2. ^ The match was abandoned at the 20th minute, Shooting Starts abandoned the tournament and Africa Sports qualified into the finals
  3. ^ Due to its incidents between African Sports, New Nigeria Bank chose to play the finals on neutral ground, it was refused and the club declared its matches forfeited and Ifodje Atakpamé of Togo qualified into the finals
