Tehadiso (Ge'ez: ተሃድሶ, meaning "renaissance" or "reformation")[1][2] is a group of reformed Christian movement within the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church based on Evangelical Protestant theology.[3] It has church position of archbishops, bishops, priests, deacons and monks which operates in both Exiled-Synod and the Holy-Synod.[4][5]

The earliest Tehadiso church was Medhanialem Tehadiso Church founded in 1946. The movement is one of the most controversial within the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and its Mahibere Kidusan sect, which believed it is "heretical" and spread globalization, secularization, and ecumenism in the church.[6][7]
