The Central District of Amol County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان آمل) is in Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Amol.[3]
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 260,971 in 71,432 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 271,269 people in 82,653 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 296,800 inhabitants in 98,147 households.[2]
