Judicial elections for the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and the West Virginia Circuit Courts were held on November 4, 1980. One supreme court seat and three judicial circuit seats were up for election in 1980. As no Republican candidate filed for any judicial seat, the Democratic primaries scheduled on June 3, 1980, were tantamount to election.
