Kydran Jenkins (born July 3, 2002) is an American football defensive end and linebacker for the Purdue Boilermakers.

Early life and high school[edit]

Coming out of high school, Jenkins was rated as a three star recruit, where he held offers from schools such as Missouri, South Florida, East Carolina, Purdue, Appalachian State, and Georgia Southern.[1] Ultimately, Jenkins decided to commit to play college football for the Purdue Boilermakers.[2][3]

College career[edit]

During the 2021 season, Jenkins tallied 35 tackles with eight being for a loss, five sacks, and a pass deflections. In the 2022 season, Jenkins recorded 32 tackles with eight being for a loss, four sacks, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble.[4][5][6] In week eight of the 2023 season, Jenkins recorded his first career collegiate touchdown off a fumble recovery versus the Nebraska Cornhuskers.[7] In 2023, Jenkins would truly breakout, notching 57 tackles with 15.5 being for a loss, seven and a half sacks, a pass deflection, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a touchdown.[8][9] For his performance on the season, Jenkins was named a honorable mention all Big-Ten selection.[10]
