Mbumbuni is a town in Makueni County, Mbooni, Kenya. It is located approximately 98 km from Nairobi. It hosts several primary and secondary schools, including Kyang'ondu Primary and Secondary Schools, Usalala Primary and Secondary Schools, Iviani Primary and Secondary Schools, Kitondo School. Kisau Girls' School, Kisau Education center, Kisau All stars Academy, Lung'u Primary and Secondary Schools, Treasure Academy, among many others.
Mbumbuni was formerly the headquarters for Mbooni East District of the now-defunct Eastern Province.
