The Washington International Diplomatic Academy, abbreviated as WIDA, is an American independent educational organization based in Washington, D.C.. It offers professional development in diplomacy and international affairs.[1]

History[edit]

WIDA was founded in 2016. It offers a one-year Certificate in International Diplomacy, as well as a Summer Diplomatic Academy Programme and Executive Diplomacy Training program.[2][3]

Instructors[edit]

The academy's instructors are mainly retired US ambassadors and senior government officials.[1]
