Early life[edit]

Sehrawat hails from Birohar, Jhajjar district, Haryana.[6] He lost both his parents when he was 11 years old.

Career[edit]

Sehrawat won his first National Championship title in 2021. He used to train under coach Lalit Kumar.[6]

In January 2024, he won the gold medal in the men’s 57kg event at the Zagreb Open wrestling tournament beating China’s Zou Wanhao in the final with a perfect score of 10-0.[7]

He competed at the 2024 Asian Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan hoping to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.[8] He was eliminated in his third match and he did not qualify for the Olympics.[8]
