The Central District of Bostanabad County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان نمین) is in East Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bostanabad.[3]

At the 2006 census, its population was 69,504 in 15,311 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 70,619 people in 18,859 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 72,223 inhabitants living in 20,864 households.[2]
