List of Albanians killed during the Russian invasion of Ukraine

At least 4 Albanian citizens have been confirmed to have been killed during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

On 20 June 2022, the Russian foreign ministry claimed that 150 Albanians had volunteered to fight on the Ukrainian side and that 42 of them had been killed.[1][2] Albanian prime mister Edi Rama criticized Russian president Vladimir Putin and Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov on spreading misinformation.[3]

On 16 March 2024, the Russian foreign ministry published a chart of foreign volunteers from different countries and claims about how many had been killed. The chart claimed that 171 Albanian citizens had been killed.[4]
