The Other Way Around (Spanish: Volveréis; titled Septembre sans attendre for the French market) is an upcoming Spanish-French comedy film directed by Jonás Trueba, who also wrote it in tandem with stars Itsaso Arana and Vito Sanz.
Plot[edit]
A couple formed by actor Alex and filmmaker Ale throws a party to announce their breakup after 15 years or relationship but none of their close ones believes them.[1]

Production[edit]
The Other Way Around is a Spanish-French co-production by Los Ilusos Films, Les Films du Worso and Arte France Cinéma.[3] Shooting locations included Madrid.[4]
Release[edit]
The film will have its world premiere in the Directors' Fortnight sidebar section of the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 20 May 2024. Distributed by Elastica, it is scheduled to be released theatrically in Spain on 30 August 2024.[5] Arizona Distribution will release the film in France on 28 August 2024.[6][7]
