Lower Cressbrook is a rural locality in the Somerset Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Lower Cressbrook had a population of 16 people.[1]
Geography[edit]
The land use is predominantly grazing on native vegetation with some crop growing in the north-west of the locality.[3]
History[edit]
Cressbrook Lower State School opened on 11 April 1916 and closed in 1953.[4] It was at 2 Monks Road (corner Cooeeimbardi Road, 27°03′21″S 152°27′12″E / 27.05595°S 152.45333°E) now within the neighbouring locality of Fulham.[5][6][3]
In the 2016 census, Lower Cressbrook had a population of 16 people.[1]
