Ethnicity[edit]

The Yatinuwara Polling Division has a Sinhalese majority (89.9%) . In comparison, the Kandy Electoral District (which contains the Yatinuwara Polling Division) has a Sinhalese majority (74.4%) and a significant Moor population (13.9%) [1]
