Government Degree College, Udhampur, established in 1961, is a general degree college in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, India. This college serves the people of Udhampur and its adjoining areas.[1] This college offers courses in arts, science, and commerce. It is affiliated to University of Jammu.[2]
In the time of revolutionary phase in every province there,s a political phase .
And in gdc udhampur , there is a leader who is emerged as a great revolutionary leader from the college i:e Balwant singh mankotia who has been served udhampur -member of legislative assembly for two terms . He is a glorified and honest leader whom people termed as "Mankotia sahab"
The college was always remembered this revolution and many more in future

The college offers different undergraduate courses and aims at imparting education to the undergraduates of lower- and middle-class people of Udhampur and its adjoining areas.[3]
