Sohaib Al-Malkawi (Arabic: صهيب الملكاوي; born on April 27, 1974) is a Jordanian journalist and television presenter.[1]

Malkawi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in "Journalism and Media," specializing in Radio and Television, from Yarmouk University in Irbid in 1995. He began his broadcasting career in 1998 on Jordan Radio and Television Corporation before transitioning to Al Jazeera satellite channel in 2001.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in "Journalism and Media," with a specialization in Radio and Television, from Yarmouk University in Irbid in 1995. His career into the realm of broadcasting commenced in 1998 when he embarked on a role as a broadcaster on Jordan Radio and Television Corporation. In 2001, he transitioned to Al Jazeera Arabic satellite channel, marking the onset of a transformative phase in his career.[2][1]

At Al Jazeera, he worked as a political news broadcaster, covering significant global events for four years. His assignments included reporting on the Iraq War, the conflict in Afghanistan, and the siege on Yasser Arafat.[1]

In 2005, Malkawi shifted to the economics department, assuming the role of a broadcaster for economic bulletins. Alongside his journalistic work, he presented various programs addressing contemporary issues.[1]
