Shravan Kushwaha is an Indian politician, who is a member of Rashtriya Janata Dal political party based in Bihar. He joined politics in 2001 and contested the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections as well as election to Bihar Legislative Council. In 2024, he was made Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate for Indian General Elections to Lok Sabha from Nawada Lok Sabha constituency.[1][2]
Personal life and political career[edit]
Shravan Kushwaha has completed his matriculation from Nawada and he is a resident of a locality called Qadirganj located in Nawada district of Bihar. He started his political career by winning the election of Mukhia and subsequently got his wife elected to the same office. In his election affidavit submitted before Election Commission of India, he revealed six charges registered against him. This includes assault, violation of Model code of conduct and misappropriation of mining revenue.[3]
