Meekail Naseem

Meekail Ahmed Naseem is a Maldivian politician. He is a member of the People's Majlis from Southern Galolhu Constituency. He is a member of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).[1]

In the parliament, Naseem sponsored the Juvenile Justice Bill and amendment bills including an amendment to the Maldivian Land Act (no. 1/2002) and an amendment to The Sexual Offences Act (No. 17/2014). In January 2024, he moved a motion to sack three ministers suspended for making derogatory comments against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.[2][3][4][5]
