Sefa Burnaby Soccer Academy is a Canadian soccer club for youth players in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.[1]

History[edit]

Sefa Burnaby Soccer Academy was established in 2013. The word Sefa means Stars European Football Academy.[2] The academy has more than 200 registered players with training locations in Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, and Vancouver.[2]

Sefa is a member of BC Soccer Academies Association and plays in the Academy Super League (ASL).[2][3]

Operational model[edit]

The academy provides soccer training and games for both boys and girls from age 6 to 15 in. Sefa also provides individual trainings, goalkeeper trainings, soccer camps.[4]

Awards and recognitions[edit]

Sefa has won several soccer tournaments in the US. The academy participated in Surf Cup in San Diego in 2019, Las Vegas Mayors Cup, and many other tournaments in the US.[5]

Each year, Sefa participates in the PacNorthWest Soccer tournament and the Crossfire Challenge. In 2023, the U12 team (2012 born boys) won both tournaments. The U14 team also won Crossfire tournament.[5]
