Demographics[edit]

Ethnicity[edit]

The Kuliyapitiya Polling Division has a Sinhalese majority (84.6%) and a significant Moor population (14.4%) . In comparison, the Kurunegala Electoral District (which contains the Kuliyapitiya Polling Division) has a Sinhalese majority (91.4%) [1]

The Kuliyapitiya Polling Division has a Buddhist majority (80.5%) and a significant Muslim population (14.6%) . In comparison, the Kurunegala Electoral District (which contains the Kuliyapitiya Polling Division) has a Buddhist majority (88.5%) [1]
