In 2016, Spin Master acquired Sago Sago from Bonnier Group.[2] In 2017, they released Sago Mini World on iOS and Android.[citation needed] In 2018, they renamed the studio fully to Sago Mini. In 2020, they released Sago Mini School on iOS and Android.[citation needed] In 2024, their standalone apps from 2011 to 2022 were removed from the App Store and Google Play.[3] In 2023, A subscription service featuring Toca Boca and Sago Mini apps called Piknik was launched.[citation needed] They also had a couple of their apps on the Windows Store. The Windows Store versions of the Sago Mini apps were removed on February 23, 2024 [citation needed]
