Olivella volutella is a species of small sea snail, marine gastropod mollusk in the subfamily Olivellinae, in the family Olividae, the olives. Species in the genus Olivella are commonly called dwarf olives.[2]

Description[edit]

The length of the shell varies between 12 mm and 25 mm.

Distribution[edit]

This marine species occurs off Panama and off Gambier Islands (French Polynesia)
