Tom Benavidez (January 6, 1939 – April 16, 2016) was an American politician who served as a member of the New Mexico Senate.[2]

Biography[edit]

Benavidez was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended the University of Albuquerque, before becoming a real estate broker.[2][3]

He served in the New Mexico Senate[2] from 1966 to 1970 and again from 1984 to 1996.[4]

He died on April 16, 2016 at the age of 77.[5][4]
