History of women's rugby union matches between Canada and France

Canada women and France women played 17 games against each other, with France winning 9 matches. Their first match-up was during the inaugural 1996 Canada Cup in Edmonton, Canada winning 34–3. They have met at five World Cups — three times for the Third Place game (2002, 2006, 2021 editions) and once in the semi-finals in 2014. Their most recent clash was at the inaugural WXV1 in 2023.[1][2][3]
