The 2024–25 season will be the 116th season in the history of the Borussia Dortmund, and it will also be the 49th consecutive season in Bundesliga. In addition to the domestic league, the team is scheduled to participate in the DFB-Pokal, and the UEFA Champions League.
This season will be the first since 2011–12 without captain midfielder Marco Reus, who will leave after the end of his contract.
