Robert Anthony[1][2] Merulla is an amateur poker player and lawyer[1][2] best known for winning the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open (2014).[3][4]
Other results include a fourth-place finish in the 2011 World Series of Poker short-handed championship ($5,000 No Limit Hold'em - Six Handed) for $208,281;[5] and a third-place finish in 2009's edition of the Borgata Winter Poker Open for $236,452.[5]
Merulla plays a stack size-dependant game meaning he decides which cards to play in according to his stack size.[6]
As of May 2024, Merulla's total live tournament winnings almost equals $850,000.[5]
